  1. Advance reservations are required on all meal service trains.
  2. All trains are Smoke Free.
  3. CANCELLATION, NO SHOW & REFUND POLICY:  We reserve the right to consolidate events within 72 hours of scheduled departure, if minimum passenger load is not met. If guest cancellations are needed, guests must cancel the reservation 72 hours prior to departure in order to receive a full refund. There are no refunds for “NO Shows”.  Reservations which are cancelled prior to 72 hours of departure time will be allowed to re-schedule their trip on another available date within the next ninety (90) days for a $10.00 re-booking fee. Requested “Carry Out” food items will not be provided for reserved guests who are not onboard for whatever reason. All Group Reservations, Private Charter and certain selected holiday departures will have specified cancellation dates associated with that event. The Columbia Star Dinner Train makes every effort to maintain the train schedule, but reserves the right to alter schedules or equipment without notice and cannot be held liable for delays or cancellations regardless of the cause. THE COMPANY CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR CANCELLED EVENTS DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS WHICH PROHIBIT TRAVEL. SHOULD EVENTS BE CANCELLED FOR WEATHER EMERGENCIES, THE $10.00 PER PASSENGER RE-BOOKING FEE WILL BE WAIVED.
  4. Carry-on food and beverages are not allowed.
  5. Suggested Dress Code:
    EVENING DINNER TRAINS | Men business casual; Ladies Dress Appropriate for Fine Dining; Men’s Tie Appropriate, But Not Required
    SUNDAY BRUNCH TRAINS | Sunday Casual
  6. Prices stated EXCLUDE Bar & Gratuity. Our entire wait staff, car hosts and bar tenders work together as a team to provide you with the highest service level possible. Gratuity paid is pooled for all staff serving the train. Our tickets provide three services, food, train ride and entertainment if available. Gratuity on the food portion of your ticket approximates $5 Per Person. Bar gratuity should approximate 18-20% of the total bar tab, which is presented onboard at the end of the train excursion. Cash or Credit Cards (Visa, Master Card or Discover)accepted.
  7. Please notify us at the time of reservation of guests requiring additional assistance.
  8. Entrée selections are the responsibility of the person or persons booking the reservation.
  9. Entrée selections must be completed at least three days in advance of departure date.
  10. Guests who have not made advance selections will be at Chefs discretion. Last minute changes to the entrée choices will not be accommodated.
  11. Arriving guests will obtain their ticket when boarding the train. Billing will occur at the time reservations are made. Large event trains are billed at time of reservation. All guests will need a ticket to board the trains.
  12. All guests should arrive in time to obtain the boarding pass or ticket and be on board at least 30 minutes prior to departure time.
  13. All packages or luggage brought onboard the train are subject to inspection. We are not responsible for items left or lost on the train or premises.
